Community News: CodeWorks 2012 Announced
by Chris Cornutt August 01, 2012 @ 10:53:30
php|architect has officially announced CodeWorks 2012, a touring conference coming to 10 different cities all around the US, each one day long (September 25th through December 12th).
Codeworks, our annual one-day conference tour, is back for yet another year to bring a full day of learning, fun, and networking opportunities to a city near you! Like every year, we're visiting ten cities on this year's tour, with some familiar stops and some new venues added to our roster. Codeworks is a one-of-a-kind experience. We take most of our staff on tour, alongside a few trusted friends and colleagues, and organize a one-day conference with professional-grade presentations on hot topics for the PHP development world.
The stops on the tour for this year are: Buffalo, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Boca Raton, Madison, Memphis, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles. Early Bird tickets are already on sale (just $25 USD) so you can pick up your pass and reserve your spot now!

php|architect: CodeWorks East 2011 Recap
by Chris Cornutt December 16, 2011 @ 08:08:21
On the php|architect site today Keith Casey has written up a summary of the eastern leg of the CodeWorks conference tour that just wrapped up in Orlando, Florida.
While it will still be a few days weeks until I'm finally recovered, I wanted to share a recap of CodeWorks East 2011 while it was still fresh. If you're looking for the core presenters' slides, attendees will receive them via email but they will not be published publicly until after the West Coast Tour is complete in January 2012.
He mentions their sponsor first (Adobe) and then gets into the details of each stop along their way - Madison, Nashville, Baltimore, Raleigh and finally Orlando. Their west coast tour kicks off on January 10th in Seattle (with further stops in Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Austin). You can find out more about the event on the CodeWorks site.
