Ibuildings are looking for a Senior PHP Developer/Consultant. We do large-scale development projects and various PHP related professional services, such as application audits, implementation/optimisation of development methodologies, architecture of web clusters and training.

PHP is our basis and core technology, but we cover the entire stack from operating system to web browser.

We have enthusiastic teams of PHP professionals working on interesting and challenging projects for a wide range of customers.

What we look for in potential candidates:

• Minimum 3 years commercial experience
• A solid background in software engineering (oop, ooa/ood, design patterns)
• Affinity with scripting languages
• Affinity with open source
• Affinity with database technology
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and not afraid to explore the unknown
• Creativity
• Communication skills

Zend and/or MySQL certifications are preferred, but not required. We do however require new employees to become Zend Certified Engineer within the first few months of employment (at our expense).
