Symfony Camp UA 2012 Announced

The official announcement has been posted about a Symfony-related conference coming up next month (December 2012) happening in Kiev - Symfony Camp UA 2012.

This year Symfony Camp UA 2012 conference will be held on December 1, 2012 (Kiev, Ukraine). It'll be dedicated to the development of web applications using Symfony PHP Framework. At present it's the biggest event of its kind, held in the territory of CIS on a yearly basis. Last year more than 200 persons attended the conference. The aim of the event is to gather all people who already develop using the new version of Symfony 2 PHP Framework or only plan using it in their work. This conference is a wonderful opportunity for getting acquainted, exchange of experience and broadening of one's knowledge.

If you hurry and get in before the 18th of November, you can pick up your ticket for about 20 Euro. After that it's just 25 Euro. Additionally, if you're interested in presenting at the event, they're currently accepting submissions. For the latest updates, you can follow them on Twitter.

As mentioned on the Symfony blog today, there's a reminder about the Symfony Camp conference being held in Kiev, Ukraine on October 29th.

Registration is free! The main topic of the conference will be Symfony2 and all related aspects. The schedule, however, is not fully determined yet. If you have something interesting to present, then submit your proposal here.

Symfony Camp UA 2011 Announced

A new announcement has come out today about a new Symfony-related event happening at the end of October (on the 29th) in the Ukraine - Symfony Camp UA 2011 (a free event).

The conference Symfony Camp UA 2011 is dedicated to the development of web applications with Symfony PHP Framework (http://symfony.com). The main topic of the conference is the new version of the framework - Symfony 2. It's the third conference of its kind in Ukraine. It'll take place in Kiev on October 29, 2011. In 2010 about 110 participants from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Moldova visited our conference dedicated to Symfony. We're still working on the program of the conference. Anyone wanting to make a presentation at Symfony Camp UA can submit a relevant form here: http://2011.symfonycamp.org.ua.

If you're wanting to speak at the event they have a few suggestions for topics such as:

  • Doctrine 2 (ORM, ODM, MongoDB) / Propel 1.6
  • Twig

  • Website migration from version 1.x to 2

Announcing ZFConf Ukraine + MageConf 2010

On the Zend Developer Zone today there's an announcement from Alexander Veremyev about a new conference that'll be happening in Kiev, Ukraine in the later part of November - ZFConf Ukraine.

I'm glad to announce ZFConf Ukraine + MageConf 2010, which is a joint conference for Zend Framework and Magento users. It will happen on 27th November in Kiev, Ukraine. ZFConf Ukraine is a first Zend Framework Ukrainian conference prepared in a partnership with ZFConf Russia and zendframework.ru community.

Sessions will include a look at the Zend Framework 2.0 release, the evolution of the framework over the years, unit testing and Doctrine 2 integration. You can get full information about the event from the conference website.
