Sunshine PHP Announces Speakers & Sessions!

The Sunshine PHP conference has officially announced their speaker and session lists for next year's event (happening in Miami, Florida February 8th and 9th, 2013).

The event will have a wide range of topics covered including:

  • Cryptography for the Average Developer
  • Continuous Integration in Real Life
  • Quickly Building and Deploying PHP Applications in the Cloud
  • Symfony2 + EmberJS for fun and profit
  • Introducing Tests in Legacy PHP Applications
  • Dependency Management with Composer
  • From POX to HATEOAS, Our Companies Journey to Build a Hypermedia API

Tickets are already on sale for the event - about $220 USD for the full event, $160 for a student pass.

On the Symfony blog they talk about the SunshinePHP Conference (happening in Miami, February 8th and 9th) and it's dedicated Symfony track.

The SunshinePHP conference will take place in M-I-A-M-I, what a cool place for a Symfony conference during cold winter time! Save the date, on February 8th & 9th, you can register for two days of Symfony sessions, making this the first Symfony event on the east coast of the USA. The Call for Papers is still open, so do not hesitate to submit a talk about Symfony.

The conference isn't just limited to Symfony sessions either - you can submit on whatever web or PHP-related topics you might like to present. Hurry though, because the Call for Papers ends in less than a week (on December 1st)! The Sunshine PHP Conference has announced their opening keynote speaker for this year's conference (in Miami, Florida February 8th and 9th) - Rasmus Lerdorf, creator of the PHP language.

SunshinePHP Developer Conference is proud to announce the opening keynote speaker Rasmus Lerdorf. In February 2013 when it is cold in most places around the world, it is still sunny and beautiful in Florida. Sunshine PHP Conference Announced (and Call for Papers Opened)!

The PHP community has a new conference that's been announced - Sunshine PHP, a conference being held in South Florida during the first part of February (the 8th-9th) in 2012.

With such a large PHP community in Florida it's about time someone organized a PHP developer conference here, so this is it! We will be hosting some of the best speakers, latest technology, and up to date news in the industry. So register now while space is still available, and if you are a speaker please submit your talks before the call for papers ends on Dec. 1st.

Their Call for Papers is now open through December 1st. The conference hasn't selected a location yet, but chances are it'll be somewhere near Boca Raton/Ft. Lauderdale. You can follow them on Facebook or Twitter for the latest info.
