PHPBuilder.com:
Create Advanced Facebook Apps with Facebook JavaScript
May 10, 2010 @ 08:53:06

Following up on a previous article about building Facebook applications, Sachin Khosla takes it a step further with this new article about some of the more advanced techniques (like using Ajax).

This article goes a step further by exploring how to create more advanced Facebook applications using the Facebook JavaScript (FBJS) framework. FBJS allows you to use JavaScript within your Facebook applications, opening the door for more interactive, Ajax-driven user controls.

He walks you through the creation of a sample application and shows how to add in a javascript function, "contact", that creates an Ajax object and connection to handle a POST request to another page.
