Alright, it's taken me long enough to this section going, but I think it'll really be good for the life of the site, and allow just that much more interaction between us and the community.

The new Rants and Raves section will allow myself and other developers alike to have a voice in this crazy world that we live in. I want it to be a place where ideas and comments that don't pertain just to the daily news or questions about how to write something in PHP are posted. I want it to be a free exchange of ideas and thoughts about the rants that are posted. I started it off with one of my personal beefs lately: Programmers Who Aren't Programmers.

Now, keep in mind that this forum is open to anyone out there, not just me. If you have something that you'd like to speak out about, but just haven't found the right forum to do it in, please send it along and I'll have a look over it. I do ask that submissions be a complete idea, and not things like "I think Zend's pricing sucks!" or something of that nature.
