With PHP growing in popularity just about daily - and showing no signs of dropping from the number one server-side scripting language, it's always good to see people spreading the word about it in their area. And, that's jut what the Wick Hill Group is doing for the UK.

According to a news posting on PHPEverwhere, the UK based company is now going to sell the Zend products to the UK areas. "In the next six months, we will see a recognition of how much critical corporate IT is based on PHP," said Ian Kilpatrick, managing director of the Wick Hill Group. "It is absolutely endemic."

Well, it' may not be just PHP in the strictest sense, but at least the language is being promoted in there as well. This article also notes that the current release date for PHP5 is sometime in early 2003 and will be a "tremendous change" from the current language.
