Well, we made it to two years....man, that seems like a long time (and I guess it is in "internet time" where sites come and go in mere months). But, still - I can't believe the support and community that has grown around this site. I know there's new people finding it every day out there, just looking for a good PHP resource to use, and it's really cool to me that they can come here, read up, and feel like they've gained something from the ramblings that I come up with each morning.
I don't know how many of you out there work on sites like this, but it's odd being on the "other side of the screen" and posting news every morning, only to find out that people actually enjoy it. It's so cool to have a site come from almost nothing into one of the larger, more well-established PHP resources out there.
And, now, if you'll indulge me, just a few thank yous: first off, to my partners in crime - Jason Lotito and Andrew Heebner and all the people involved in the PHPDN, all of the people that have contributed to the site over the years (that still sounds weird), as well as everyone who has helped me post news or even just made suggestions for the site. It's because of all of you that this site is still around today. Thank you all - and here's to many more years to come (*clink*). Also, for those that missed it, today is my birthday as well (I'm 25, a little bit older than PHPDeveloper.org - heh).
