Felix Geisendorfer's Blog:
CakePHP Bleeding Edge - Google Group
November 08, 2007 @ 09:34:00

Felix Geisendorfer has come up with a way for those CakePHP fanatics obsessed with staying up with the SVN:HEAD of the project on their system to communicate:

What am I talking about? A new google group called CakePHP Bleeding Edge for those of us how keep up with the adventure of running SVN:HEAD. The idea is to share critical /useful changesets, problems and solutions that come our way when we update our applications to the latest cake version

So far, the group has been pretty well received with fifty-two members already signed up. There's not a lot of activity yet, but as word spreads more developers will jump on board. This could also become a great feedback tool for the CakePHP developers, seeing how their changes might effect the framework's users before a major release is pushed.
