The results of the ActiveState Awards for the open source community have been officially released, with several PHP people making the list, including the late PostNuke developer, Greg Allan and Andrei Zmievski.
The Active Awards are presented annually, to honor members of the open source community who actively contribute to open languages and display excellence in their programming efforts.
Programmers' Choice Award winners were nominated and chosen by the open source community. Activators' Choice Award winners were chosen by ActiveState's development team.
It's quite an honor to be picked for these awards, and I'm glad that the PHP community had such a strong showing in the awards results - and congratulations to all of those who won the awards!
