This weeks latest Zend Weekly Summary has been released over on Zend.com this morning.
There's not much major in this one, but there are still a few notable things to take a look at. There's a mention of the new "comp.lang.php" newsgroup that was a huge leap forward not only in the exposure of PHP, but also as a place to allow more PHP users to congregate on the normal usenet servers. Some other smaller notes are:

• translation begins on the Arabic manual version,
• a path generated to fix some file system functions not using safe_mode or open_base_dir restrictions,
• and, of the "Bug Packs" that they created (51), 25 have already been taken up. So, if you're interested in helping to squash out some bugs, contact the main PHP list with your resuest.
