I got an email from the folks over at SitePoint.com about thier latest book, Build Your Own Database-Driven Website Using PHP & MySQL. It's aimed mainly at people that have had some experience with the PHP world, and are comforatable enough with setting up things and working with both PHP and MySQL to get relatively simple things done.
I've added it to the Books page and have links not only to the detail page on it but also the first chapter posted online. (Note: I believe I posted this article a while back, when it first came out, but never hurts to give it another go).

SitePoint has always had some quality stuff, with the occasional flub (yeah, but who doesn't have these?), and their print products are no less impressive.
