Ilia Alshanetsky's Blog:
5.2.1RC2 Available for Testing
January 05, 2007 @ 07:34:00

Right on the heels of the first release candidate for PHP 5.2.1 being posted, Ilia Alshanetsky has released the next in line, PHP 5.2.1RC2, as available for testing.

Since the last release over 30 different bug fixes were made and the two pending patches [...] were added. Another important change was the fact that the memory limit is now always enabled and to accommodate this change the default limit value was raised to 128 megabytes to avoid script breakage.

As usual, the downloads are there:

and any and all testing is encouraged on as many systems out there as possible. Any reports should be filed to the usual place.

Right on the heels of this release, Edin has also posted the Windows builds for this Release Candidate that can be downloaded here:
