Zend Developer Zone:
Codemash Teaser Caffeinated PHP
January 03, 2007 @ 08:32:00

In a new post on the Zend Developer Zone, Kevin Schroeder talks a bit about something that can help take PHP to the next level in web applications - the Java Bridge.

Many websites will not require anything like the Java Bridge for the simple fact that PHP can already do what most websites need it to do. [...] But because PHP is a 'specific' language, there are still obstacles. The PHP Java Bridge allows many obstacles for PHP adoption in the enterprise to be demolished.

There's no code or examples on using the tool (maybe that'll come later? hint, hint), but he does mention a talk that he'll be giving at Codemash (Jan 18-19th in Sandusky, OH) on the subject.
