Just a quick note about some people who are making the world a better place for PHP - PHPHelpDesk.com that offers the alternative to hanging around chat rooms, waiting to get your questions answered. They offer a $20/mo program (well, $19.95) for an "All you Can Ask" service from their professionals. They use Jabber to talk a lot of the users through thier problems and provide that "reliable resource" that so many need when they're stuck and the deadline is in 3 hours...(but I've never been there. No, of course not, not me - heh). So, give 'em a look and see if something like this might interest you/be useful to you...For more info, check out PHPHelpDesk.com or Tap Internet
Well, it's a shame that they had to go an mess up the back with the "Zend Gay Pride" logo, but the new Zend T-shirts are availble now. You get a free one when you purchase Zend Studio Plus 2.0 in March. The front is okay, but that back probably won't help things. Personally, I'd go for the PHP Shirt or PHP hat from CopyLeft if you want to wear your geek on your sleeve.
Well, one of the standards in computer-based imagry, Photoshop, is getting it's next upgrade. So many people out there use it to make their web graphics (including me) that the new web-centered improvements will help out quite a bit. Check out the full list of new features here and take a look at the Digital Mastery's "The Ultimate Guide to Photoshop 7.0". (Thanks to Evolt.org for the links).
