Interesting things are happening over on the NewbieNetwork this morning. The $1000 question: Should NewbieNetwork.NET evolve into DevNetwork.net?. It seems that the site has grown away from it's roots of being primarily a "newbie site" for people new to PHP and has grown to something more. As Jason puts it: but every newbie stops being a newbie, and starts being a developer. Isn't it time we follow that? So, hop over to the NewbieNetwork and leave a comment and your vote.

Right on the heals of the "Credit Card" article posted yesterday on DevArticles, they have another e-commerce themed articles with Review: The Shopping Cart Report. It's a review of a book (an eBook too!) that talks about shopping carts and how to find the best deal for you and your business. I know tons of people that are looking for the "best" shopping cart software out there. What most don't realize is that there's not really a best - it's just what's best for you (and that works well).

I once again want to appologise for the downtime the other day - the machine that this is hosted on isn't great, but it's free for me, so (obviously) I'll use it until it dies. It does a good job otherwise - these BookPCs are nice for the space, but they suffer some overheating problems because of their small design...
