Zend has the latest part in their Photo Gallery Series they they started a while back. This is the final part in the series and just adds those little finishing touches to the rest of the script that makes things nice. The main thing in this one is making the output pretty with the thumbnail_table() function - it outputs the thumbnails that were generated before in a nice, pretty little table.

Jason over at the NewbieNetwork has been working hard on reworking lots of the tutorials that he has to get them updated and more useful. There's one in perticular that he pointed out - the PHP and MySQL intro. This isn't one that tells you how to compile it in or anything (although these days, MySQL support is pretty standard), but it does tell you what you need to know to get things connected and running right in your scripts. For those looking for a great intro to using PHP/MySQL together, check this one out - you'll be glad you did.

And, last but not least today, Evolt has a new article posted about using Polls & comments with PHP & MySQL. There's tons of package out there that do this same kind of thing, but if you've been wanting to roll out your own and make it work a little bit better or make it more into what you need for your site, check this article out. They give you just about everything you'd need (except the software, and there's even links to that!).
