The EvilWarlus has a note this morning about a neat little PHP script that helps you with FTPing things around from a script. PHP FXP. copy's files from your FTP server to another FTP server. Its a nice little program I'd have to say. All you have to do as the user is change one variable, bring up the page, then enter your FTP info. After that it will copy the file you specify to the directory you specify on the other FTP server. I took a look at it, and it does seem pretty handy.
DevArticles has a new review of the Namo WebEditor 5 for Windows. Now, I know what you're thinking - it's a WYSIWYG editor and for Windows, but the reviewer gave it some really good marks. It has some nice built in features like image manipulation and a database wizard that allows you to get into from a database quickly and easily. According to him: Overall, I give WebEditor 5 nine and a half stars out of ten. I would recommend it to anyone interested in web development and databases including beginners, intermediate users, and expert web developers alike. Its built-in time saving features are just to good to live without. It's a must have!
Well, since the forums went down the other day (I still can't figure out why that one page doesn't load), I've been thinking more and more about finding something a whole lot simpler. Just post and reply kinds of things. Heck, I might even work up my own....I dunno yet. I'm sorry that they're still down, but I'm working on it. Just bear with me....
