EvilWarlus, Dynamic Menus, and Site News

Just when you think everything's okay and working, Code Red comes and kicks your butt yet again. EvilWalrus has been having downtime troubles, and they discovered that a lot of the load was still due to Code Red attacks. So, just bear with them - they'll have things under control as soon as their sysadmin updates their server.

DevArticles.com has a new article this morning about Creating an IE-Only Database Driven Menu System With PHP, MySQL and DHTML. I know, I know - the "IE-only" will scare a few of you away, but trust me, this is pretty neat stuff. It does use Javascript and all, but the end effect is really cool. It's the kind of menus with the plus/minus next to the options to expand them out or contract them. It also shows a good, effective use of PHP/MySQL and the browser working together to do something really pretty neat. Makes me wonder why more people do use dynamic menuing systems...

I made some improvements to the new phpdev site last night, including getting the new Products Section working and some info posted in there. So, if you've sent me a product release in the last month or so and wondered why it didn't end up on the front page here, it's because it's there now. I'll update those as I get them so that we'll have content over there too. Please be sure to take a look at the new phpdev site - I want to get as much feedback as I can on it. It's a site fo you guys, and I want you to be happy with it.
