Sorry about yesterday all...the site was down for a good while (mostly at the time when we get a large chunk of visitors) and I had a small emergency yesterday that needed to be handled, so I didn't get to update. So....that just means a double dose today!

Over on PHP.net they have a Call for Participation for this year's O'Reilly Open Source Convention. Last year's was great, from what I heard - several of the PHP-lovers got togethter and met for probably the first (and maybe only) time. Good times were had by all.

Also today, DevShed has the second part in their Building A PHP-Based Mail Client series. This one goes more into detail on attachments and how to display the contents of the messages. They made some big steps in this part, but they still have a ways to go to make it an acceptible "standard" email client. Keep watching....
