Booke Review - Pro PHP XML and Web Services
April 14, 2006 @ 08:08:41

Over on Codewalkers.com today, there's a new book review of one of the latest PHP-related offerings from the APress publishing house - Pro PHP XML and Web Services.

I got this book because I consider myself a "specialist" in the area of Web Services. I've been studying and practicing all the various aspects of web service development for almost 3 years now and this is the first book I've found that does more than skim the surface.

The reviewer mentions what the book covers, how well it covers it (very well - especially the XML section), and the inclusion of an appendix providing a large reference for the terms/functionality mentioned previously in the book.

Overall, the reviewer gave it a nine out of ten rating...
