From this post on Nexen.net today, there's information about the third edition of the "PHP in the Enterprise" white paper.

This white paper has been written up by experts in the PHP field, and provides companies with information about PHP5 and whorking with it. It's published by the AFUP (the French PHP Users Group). This white paper is targeted at developers, project leaders, decision makers, and architects looking to answer the questions:

• Does PHP compete with .NET and J2EE?
• How is the language structured?
• What are some of the larger projects that use PHP?
• etc.
