DynamicWebPages.de has their own take on the just-announced Zend PHP Framework and Eclipse partnership.

There was an announcement today that Zend has started the "PHP Collaboration Project" and is joining up with the Eclipse project as well. There were rumors about something to come from Zend, and now it's official - after waiting and watching for what Zend was going to do next, we have offical confirmation.

The press release was just published to their site concerning the development and creation of the PHP Collaboration Project. This is the first part of a two-part Open Source initiative - the second being the partnership with the Eclipse project. The framework will standardize is set to simplify and accelerate the development of PHP applications, and provide a open standard for more customer-friendly applications.
