In his latest post, Richard Heyes looks at a site that's been around for a while - The Daily WTF - and some of the "interesting" quotes that he's found on there.
For example: "PHP is used primarily by hobbyists". Hmmm, I'd say this is probably dead wrong. Perhaps five years ago when PHP3 was predominant, but PHP has come a long, long way since then.
I'm a daily reader of The Daily WTF, an amusing insight into the truely incompetent. The past couple of posts though have shown a large dose of lack of knowledge with regard to PHP and where it is right now.
There's a few others, including (some of my favorites): "Also, I surely would prefer the well-tested phpBB forum than this crap." and "...gives you just enough rope to shoot yourself".
It's interesting to see how easily (and quickly) FUD can spread...
