With the first of the blogging that I've seen from the web|works & php|works conference being put on in Toronto by the php|architect folks, Amy Hoy blows off a bit of pre-presentation steam.
Flying by the seat of my pants? Nahhhh.
It's 9:29am and I'm sitting in Rasmus Lerdorf's keynote in Toronto, and I just finally wrapped up adding a couple new illustrations to my presentation for my first talk, which is supposed to be in 15 minutes. (But everything appears to be running a bit late.)
She's presenting on Interface Design later this morning. And, for your amusement, she presents Eric the Error:
If I don't make it out alive, remember: Eric the Error just wants to be your friend. Love him as if he were your own.
You must love Eric. Be nice to Eric. Eric is just wants to be loved, not squashed.
UPDATE: via this new post, Amy has already given her talk and posted the slides from her presentation - in both Quicktime (large | small) and PDF format. She does request that you download it and watch it versus streaming it from the server, and that if you'd like to redistribute it, let her know first...
