Marco Tabini has a new post on his blog today with an update on the php|architect effort to help support the Red Cross' efforts to help the Hurricane Katrina victims (as shown by the box to the right).

Despite not having any sort of budget for marketing and being knee-deep in finalizing php/web|works, I am happy to report that the PHP community came through in style to pitch in our Hurricane Katrina relief initiative—and our initial donation of $500 has been nearly tripled in a mere four days. Way to go, guys and girls!
