Jackson Miller has put out a request for anyone out there with knowledge of how to install PHP5 on a Red Hat Enerprise 3 server.
However, maybe someone out there in the blogosphere has some insight they would like to share?
I need to install PHP5 on a Red Hat Enterprise 3 server. I would prefer to go the RPM and be sure that everything will work as it does now (i.e. still work with Plesk hosts). I have looked for an RPM but have not been able to find one. If I don't find one today then I will compile from source.
I can't imagine it'd be much different than compiling the source one any other distribution - but I suppose he's looking for RPMs. I've never really been a big fan of them - sure, they're easy to use, but you're pretty much stuck with whatever they give you. I'm too picky and all about my custom builds for that...
