Congratulations go out to Laura Thomson today for her new position at OmniIT. She works for George Schlossnagle there, who many will know from his numerous PHP conference talks.

I will be finishing up my teaching of "Web Servers and Web Technology" this semester in parallel, and yes, I will be finishing my PhD, before anybody asks.

She'll be a "Senior Web Developer" and still based in Australia, instead of hanging out in California or Maryland.
