With the approval of his HTML_AJAX package for PEAR, Joshua Eichorn has posted lots of details on it and gives some samples of its use.

HTML_AJAX had its first PEAR release today. Its the same version as was voted on so there is no new code but you can use the PEAR installer to get it.

I’ve started a basic website for the project, it includes a development roadmap, so if you want to help out, or just want to know whats happening next thats a great place to start.

With the addition of (I believe) the first Ajax-related package into PEAR, I hope it will lead the way for even more packages of this type. Integrating PHP and Ajax more directly like this can also only lead to more powerful applications, and I hope that all the cross-language developers out there take this package and run, creating even more amazing apps for the future...
