In a quick post from Marco Tabini today over on hiw weblog, he notes that now, BeebleX, the PHP search engine, now has keyword highlighting.

I’ve added keyword highlighting to BeebleX… it’s still a bit shaky in some places, and it only works for search results and mailing lists, but it’s a start. The only major improvement that it needs is better highlighting in the search excerpts—like Google, I’d like to return the portion of the excerpt that actually contains one or more off the search terms.

With more and more features getting added all the time, this search engine is getting to be more and more of a valuable resource to the PHP community - keep up the great work Marco!
