This tutorial was my first attempt at making an image gallery. It worked fine for me personally, but after the many responses I received from codewalkers using it I began making all sorts of updates beyond the tutorial which were exclusively available in the code section. I also began to realize (very quickly I might add) just how sloppy and un-portable the code really was.

Having killed the project quite some time ago to re-think my strategy, I finally decided to start over from scratch. I am proud to announce that a much better gallery and completely revised tutorial is now available in the July issue of Php|Architect magazine. :-)

This version isn't a bad place to start, but I can see why he had decided to start over and create a better system. Having reviewed both articles, the second in this php|architect issue show much more promise...
