Atlanta PHP Users Group:
July Meeting Reminder (7th at 7pm)
Jun 30, 2005 @ 22:07:57

There's a reminder from the Atlanta PHP Users Group on their site today about their upcoming July meeting - July, 7th at 7pm.

Our regular monthly meeting for July will take place once again at New Horizons in Tucker, GA. As discussed at our June meeting, we will begin our meetings with 30 minutes of introductions, networking, and general discussion. Then, the presentation will begin at 7:30 PM.

Ben will be giving a more in-depth presentation on XSS and CSRF: Cross-site scripting (XSS) and cross-site request forgeries (CSRF) are often confused as being one and the same, but this misconception can lead to disastrous results. In this talk, you will encounter each of these attacks through examples and learn to distinguish between them. You will also examine secure coding practices and techniques for prevention.

So, for anyone going to be in the Tucker, Georgia area on Thursday, be sure to stop in and meet some of your fellow PHPers...
