Codewalkers.com has a new note today about a "peculiar promotion" from Apress to get a $10 USD eBook - and it involves a little destruction...
Apress is running a peculiar promotion. If you rip out the copyright page from a book in your collection and send it to them they will give you a coupon for a $10 eBook. Most of the books from Apress are available in eBook format, so you will most likely find a book that interests you.
The key here is that the page needs to come from a non-Apress book (and I know you have at least one that you wouldn't mind ripping up a bit). Simply rip it out, write the title and ISBN of the Apress book you want and a valid email address on it and they'll send along a coupon you can use for a $!0 USD eBook from their collection. It looks like you can get just about any title you want from their extensive collection - including some very nice PHP-related titles (such as Marcus Whitney's Pro PHP 5 and David Sklar's Essential PHP Tools: Modules, Extensions, and Accelerators).
