In this new post on NuCleuZ's blog today, there's mention of a "rebirth" of sorts for the wxPHP project, an effort to create a wxWidgets wrapper (or binding) for PHP.
Looks like wxPHP development has started up again ( not that there was anything there before... ), and 2 days ago the first commit to cvs was done ( no: nothing there yet, but at least the work has been started ). Been a while since this was first announced, would still like to see this project up and running since wxWidgets is a very nice toolkit ( and just about every other language got bindings to it ).
The wxWidgets project (here) is used for cross-platform GUI programming, a sort of "rival" to PHP-GTK and some of the toolkits for it. The author of the new development being done wants to, however, make it more of a PHP extension-based method than just an add-on library...
