German PHP Training Starting Soon
May 30, 2005 @ 11:19:23

ThinkPHP has this new note today about the German-language training that they're going to be offering soon - with the first class/workshop beginning tomorrow (May 31st).

As I've announced some times ago, we are also offering online PHP training courses in German language. The first workshop will start tomorrow, it's called "PHP im Unternehmenseinsatz: Datenbankentwicklung mit PHP". The trainer for this workshop will be Markus Wolff who is a well-known contributor to the PEAR project.

Unlike other training seminars, the trainings won't be "live". Instead, every attendee has the time he needs for stepping through the course materials, being divided into weekly courses with some exercises at the beginning of each week, a mailing list and a forum to post problems and exchange ideas.

If you'd like to sign up or just get more details on the training classes, check out this page - the cost is 415 Euro (365 for students) and will last 5 days. Seems like there will be a lot of PEAR involved in the class - which is a good thing. I think that too many training classes only reinforce the "use only your own code" kind of methodology when it comes to coding...
