Ben Ramsey has made this new posting over on the International PHP Conference 2005 (Spring Edition) weblog with a good, long view of how the conference was and his views on things.

As I mentioned earlier, I was unable to find any time to blog during the week of the International PHP Conference in Amsterdam. [...] But now I am on the airplane, high in the sky over the Atlantic and watching (only in a cursory sense, since I’m not actually listening) the Marvel movie Elektra. Thus, I have plenty of time to think about the conference and to reflect on all the meetings and introductions that occurred during the week.

He talks about the presentations (Christian Wenz, Aaron Wormus, Sebastian Bergmann, Derick Rethans, and many more) as well as some of the everyday things that went one (such as their search for internet access and a good sandwich). It's interesting to see more of a personal prespective on the whole conference, versus the "official story" from the IPC2K5 people themselves...
