In an email recieved from Yann Larrivee from the PHPQuebec.org group today, there is mention of two items that the PHP community might be interested in.

First off, for those that couldn't make it (or just want to rememeber everything that went on) to the PHP Quebec Conference 2005, they are offering a CD-ROM version of the presentations and information presented at this year's conference. It includes: Over 25 hours of the conference, all of the speaker's slides, the latest versions of PHP, MySQL, and the manuals for each, the "50 Most Useful PHP Software Apps", a white paper ("Using PHP in the Enterprise"), and a directory of the Quebec resources. They're offering this disc packed with PHP goodness for only $20 CAD ($16.10 USD) - but, for a limited time, you can get it for only $10 CAD ($8.05 USD) if you preorder your copy (not sure when the cutoff date is).

The other item that was noted in the email is a contest that the PHP Quebec folks are putting on to "find the best software developed with PHP, Mysql, and Apache. This goes hand in hand with the previously mentioned CD-ROM as the winning applications will be included in their "Top 50 Useful PHP Software Applications" on the PHP Quebec Conference 2005 CD-ROM Edition.
