If you haven't heard yet, Chris Shiflett, one of the foremost PHP security experts out there, has started his own PHP consultancy company - BrainBulb.

There has also been tons of community support for the consultancy as it is something needed by the community. They offer things such as PHP security audits, PHP support contracts to provide troubleshooting and assistance to you or your company with all of your PHP needs, and PHP training (on-site training classes taught by recognized PHP experts).

Personally, I think it's wonderful that this company has been formed. I see it as another step in the "real world" advancement of PHP as a viable alternative to other web languages. It provides a more options in the fill for the gap created by the lack of an "official PHP support system" and a good source for someone to evaluate your application's security practices...
