The massive accessibility and community support for PHP means that the PHP community is composed of programmers from diverse backgrounds, with varying understanding of best practices in team development. As a result, one of the major plagues of PHP is what I call the "spaghetti western" - spaghetti code written by cowboy coders with little or no documentation. Ever seen one?"

They don't worry that someday someone else might have to come along and work with their code. They don't think that maybe it will have to be expanded and changed into a new sort of app so they don't make it flexible.
