Derick Rethans has two new postings over on his site concerning an article posted over on DevShed earlier this week - Conflict PHP.

In his first post, he notes a letter that he sent to the editors over on DevShed blasting this article for being untrue and for them not taking it upon themselves to fact-check the article.

Aftr sending this message off, he recieved a response from the editors basically saying that the article, while presented as fact, was merely an opinion (the author's opinions) about the future of PHP. Of course, they protect their own - stating that we do live in a free country where if we have an opinion we can voice it. You are also free to have your opinion.

I think it is funny to note, however, that they've Added a disclaimer to the article, stating that it is only opinion and that it contains controversial thoughts and beliefs.
