Over on Fractured Realities today there's a mini-review of the latest book offering from the folks over at php|architect - the The Zend PHP Certification Practice Test Book.

The Zend PHP Certification Practice Test Book was sent to me for review by Marco Tabini one of the co-authors of this book. His company is also responsible for the publishing of the book which is their first in a series of Nano Books announced some time ago. I was given the book in PDF format and will recieve a paper copy soon. The other author is John Coggeshall.

I was delighted to hold in my hands the first of this new series, being very eager to check out their format and quality. Thankfully, I was not dissappointed.

I would definitely agree with him here - this book is a *much* needed resource for the community. I recieved my copy yesterday as well, and was immediately impressed as to the quality of the materials presented. It not only provides a good sampling of what will be on the exam, but it also presents it in a way that's light and easy-to-read, making study time an almost painless task. But be sure to note, the book does only contain tests, nothing more. You will not learn PHP through this publication.
