Over on <a href="http://www.sandrozic.de/>Sandro Zic's weblog today, he has a note about a just-released German PHP 5 book (<a href="http://www.dpunkt.de/buch/3-89864-300-X.html>PHP 5 fur Fortgeschrittene) as well as two that are "in the pipeline" written by notable authors.

The first book, PHP 5 fur Fortgeschrittene, is a condensed, translated, and updated version of Harry's excellent PHP Anthology.

The second, Professionelle Softwareentwicklung mit PHP 5 is coming up from Sebastian Bergman and should help any PHP4-er out there make the move up to PHP 5.

And, last, but not least - the third book PHP 5 seeks to be a resource for those just getting into PHP 5, starting new from 5 (and not unlearning the habits made from working with PHP4). This one's written by several prominent authors in the German PHP community: Hakan Kucukyilmaz, Alexander Merz, Thomas Haas.
