Aaron Wormus and PHP Magazine have published the latest PHPBarnstormer for public consumption - Issue #28.

Issue #28 marks the last edition of PHPBarnstormer for the year 2004. But Aaron promises to spice up your weekly Barnstormers with news as it happens from mailing lists across PHP, PEAR, and PECL, all through 2005. In Issue #28 read all about the happennings on the mailing lists, run through the list of latest packages, and don't forget to check out the package for the week, Structures_datagrid -- a fantastic package that is bound to make your life easy. Aaron also recommends a package that you can dig your teeth into over the holiday season.

PEAR/PECL packages mentioned in this issue include: event-0.9.1 (beta), File-1.1.0RC1 (beta), HTTP_Download-1.0.0RC2 (beta), and LiveUser-0.14.0 (beta).

The package spotlight for this edition was the Structures_Datagrid package. However, any code I would provide here would be made obsolete with the next release, owing to the upcoming BC breaks in the constructor; I've decided to wait with this package until the API stablizes. Instead, his suggestion is to check out the previously mentioned LiveUser packages for something to sink your teeth into...
