PHP Magazine has a new link today concerning one of the things that seems to just go hand in hand with PHP - PHP and Cookies; a good mix!
Cookies have long been used in PHP scripts, and are a very useful function. But what exactly are cookies? Maybe you have used them, but you still don't know exactly what they are. Or you are completely new to cookies? It doesn't matter, because in tutorial explains cookies in a nutshell, using PHP's built-in setcookie() function, checking if cookies are enabled, and using cookies to store multi-dimensional arrays.
Cookies can be a very powerful ally for PHP programmers out there, but you do have to be sure that you use them wisely - they can cause some security issues if you're not careful...
