This paper aims to give a quick introduction to some of the issue syou will face as an application developer when creating fully globalized applications in PHP and Oracle. However, it is not intended to be a complete guideline and several major issues, such as how to design an application that can render HTML pages suitable for bi-directional languages, are beyond the scope of this document, as they do not directly pertain to PHP and Oracle.
