Indu Britto has a new blog posting today sharing a new interview that she did with Zak Greant and Georg Richter of MySQL fame - The Ingenious i in MySQL - Chatting Up Zak & Georg

There are a number of changes for working with MySQL in PHP 5, due in no small part to new features and APIs coming online in MySQL 4.1 and 5.0. At IPC2k4, Zak Greant and Georg Richter walked the audience through the ingenious "i" in MySQL, mysqli. Further, Georg Richter, author and maintainer of the mysqli extension, held court in S5 on the new key features, the object-oriented interface, and how to use mysqli for writing better applications. I spoke to Zak and Georg on this "improved", and "ingenious", ext/mysqli.
