In some of the first editions of the blogging from the floor of the International PHP Conference, Stephan Schmidt as posting his initial entry covering the Using PHP in Large Projects topic presented by Bjorn Schotte.
He started off with some developing techniques like eXtreme Programming and Agile Development and explained how they can be used to increase customer satisfaction. (He) continued with some real-life examples of projects with more than 200 days of development and demonstrated how PHP is capable of replacing other languages, and in a lot of cases even better suited than heavyweight languages. This resembles the topic I did at the PHP-World, two weeks ago, where I explained how we are using PHP at the company I'm currently working for.
On a side note, I think it's a great idea to have "reporters" such as Stephan out there covering the conference. It just makes it that much more enjoyable for those of us not able to make it...
