PHP Magazine has released their latest issue of the PHPBarnstormer column (#21).

Issue #21 of the PHPBarnstormer carries news about the winner of the Zend Coding contest (the author of the PRADO Component Framework, the release of PHP 5 Power Programming that might also be released under the Open Publication License 90 days after it is published, suggestions on what to include in PHP 5.1, work on the PEAR installer, news that PEAR 1.4 is feature finished and that the Alpha version will be released after some tests are conducted, news about the latest releases, and much more. The package in focus this week is Text_Password -- a simple package that can either provide complex passwords or simple random text strings. It is used by Text_CAPTCHA to generate its text strings.
