Released today from PHP Magazine is their latest PHPBarnstormer - Issue #20.

Issue #20 of the PHPBarnstormer carries news about the Zend Coding contest (10 finalists have been posted on Zend's contest page), trouble on the PHP CVS, and information for PEAR afficianados on the upcoming opportunities to network with "real-life" PEAR developers. This Issue also covers news from the PEAR and PECL mailing lists and the latest releases. The package in focus this week is XML_RSS -- a parser for Resource Description Framework (RDF) Site Summary (RSS) documents. Also check out sample code that shows you how to use XML_RSS to read and parse feeds and XML_Serializer to create new feeds based on selected links from older RSS feeds.

PEAR/PECL packages released this week include: Text_Diff-0.0.4 (beta), HTML_QuickForm-3.2.4 (stable), and WinBinder-0.25.086 (alpha). The XML_RSS package can make a new RSS feed quickly and easily with only the selected links from other RSS feeds.
