New from PHP Magazine today:

Coldfusion Developer's Journal has posted a piece that pitches Coldfusion aganst PHP, Java, ASP, and ASP.NET. Although there is no significant overlap between PHP and Coldfusion, it has been included to complete the comparison with other popular scripting options. The notes mention that while PHP development may be quicker than using C or Java, it does not come close to that of ColdFusion and CFML. [...] The author concludes by saying that when time to completion and total cost of longer development cycles and more code to manage and mainitain it are not an issue, PHP is the way to go.

As a note, there are also comparisons of ColdFusion versus others in this article, but I think that PHP is one of the ones mentioned that would perform the best (in most web-based scenerios).
